I want to recommend the book, Rover Saves Christmas by Roddy Doyle. It's about a dog named Rover filling in for Rudolph, who is very lazy because he has to work 1 day a year!!! Oh no!!! Anyways, the dog brings his owners on the sleigh, and some freaky lizards who fell in love... Not the point, it's really funny though, how some characters talk and how a constellation can be a monkey's butt. Santa's gonna have the ridddddddddddde of his liffffffffffffffffffe!!!

ReplyDeleteRoddy Doyle is a hilarious Irish author with a wicked sense of humor. He writes for grown-ups, too. I've never heard of this book, J.N., so thanks for recommending it.
