How to Use a Blog

It's easy...ooops! I mean...your strategy will work.

Make a Post 
Look around carefully on the blog. Can you find the words "New Post"? They should be in the upper right hand corner. Just click on those words. You will be taken to a screen to make a post. Give your post a title that makes sense. It might be the title of a book, the name of the author, or something that grabs the  attention of your audience like "Exciting Realistic Fiction" or "Watch Out for this Scary Book!"

Then start writing your post. Be sure to tell us the author and title. Tell us a little about the book. Maybe tell us the genre, too. After that, tell us what you think. That is the most interesting part.

When you are done, think of some words to put in the labels. This might be the genre of the book or other important things. People can click on these to find other books with the same label. Thanks to S.C. for trying this out!

When you are done, click "Publish Post."

Searching
What else can you do in a blog? You can search other people's posts. This might be useful if you are looking for certain types of books or books by certain authors. You can find the search box in the upper left corner. There is a mini-magnifying glass next to it.

Making Comments
Sometimes when you read someone's post, you might want to make a comment. Look for the word "comments" just below the post. Click on it and make your comments. Remember what Confucious said- "treat others the way you would like to be treated."
